Beija-flor/ hummingbird
In it’s direct translation, beija-flor links together two nouns—beija, which means ‘kisses’, and flor, which means ‘flower’—to create a word that describes the delicate way a hummingbird feeds on nectar.
About Beijaflor…..
Beijaflor Botanicals blossomed from a life-long love affair with the beauty of the natural world, in particular the relationship between pollinator and flower. Through continued observance and reverence, these passions have culminated in two separate but complementary services: Floral Design and the Botanical Bar.
